Why the Chuppah Has to Be Designed, Not Just Booked

A chuppah has to work with the room’s architecture, the guest sightlines, and the lighting rig, not sit apart from them. That means starting the chuppah design early, alongside the floor plan, not choosing it from a supplier’s catalogue in the final weeks.

A Statement Chuppah at Rosewood Holborn

At Rosewood Holborn, we built what we call a statement chuppah, a structure sized and detailed to hold its own as the room’s centrepiece, not just mark the spot where the ceremony happened.

Suspended Florals at Old Billingsgate

At Old Billingsgate, the chuppah was part of a wider festival-style production: suspended florals and staging that turned the ceremony into part of the headline moment of the day, not a separate formal interlude before the party started.

Indoor and Outdoor Chuppahs

We have also built chuppahs indoors, in five-star hotel ballrooms including The Grove, and outdoors, on hotel grounds including Four Seasons Hampshire. The two need completely different engineering: wind and weather planning outdoors, rigging and room height indoors.
