A Different Kind of Wedding to Plan
A Jewish wedding is not a wedding with extra steps bolted on. It has its own structure, and that structure has to shape the whole plan from day one, not get squeezed in afterwards.
There is a chuppah to design and build, not just choose from a catalogue. There is a rabbi to coordinate, often more than one, and their requirements sit above the venue’s own rules. There is kosher catering to source, and that changes which venues and which caterers are even in the running. Get the running order wrong and you can lose the ketubah signing, the badeken, or the glass-breaking moment that guests are there for.
We plan around this from the first meeting, not after the venue is booked.
What We Have Actually Delivered
We have run Jewish weddings in five-star London hotel ballrooms, under statement chuppahs in historic London venues, in marquees on private estates, and on destination sites in Florence and Marbella. Each one needed a different answer to the same questions: which rabbi, which caterer, which kitchen, which build.
That range is the point. A Jewish wedding planner who has only ever worked in one type of venue will struggle the moment your wedding does not fit that mould.
Coordinating Rabbis and Kashrut, Not Just Suppliers
Booking a rabbi is not like booking a band. Availability is tight, requirements vary between rabbis, and plans can change at short notice.
On one destination wedding in Spain, the rabbi we had booked had to withdraw days before the wedding. His wife was seriously unwell. We worked through our own contacts, rang around ten different rabbis, and found a replacement in time. That kind of relationship, not a directory listing, is what gets a wedding through a problem like that.
It is not only the ceremony. Visiting rabbis often need kosher food arranged in their hotel rooms, and making them properly comfortable is part of the job, not an afterthought.
The Budget Conversation
We work on a cost-plus model: a transparent agency fee on top of real supplier costs. It is tailored to each project, guided by scale, complexity and how much of the day we run, typically 15% to 20% of your budget, with fees starting from £15,000. We do take on smaller projects on a case-by-case basis, so it is worth a conversation even if you think you are under that.
