This couple wanted the opposite of a white wedding with a three-course dinner. They chose a red ceremony followed by a tea dance. Red partly for distinction, partly for the number of Arsenal fans in the room. The Savoy was dressed for winter outside, but the ceremony room was washed in deep red light with candles running the full length of the aisle.

The bride wore pale blue Erdem with bright florals and carried a mixed-colour bouquet, which tells you everything about how traditional this wedding was not. The red carried into the reception, where the couple's love of art shaped the florals and furnishings. Afternoon tea brought scones, sandwiches and cakes, with acoustic buskers roaming the room. After the speeches the Jersey Boys performed. When the music ended the couple simply moved the party up to the penthouse.
