Neon Pop

Location: The Dorchester, London

Clean, sleek and high-spec, held in The Dorchester's ballroom. The brief pointed at a trendy Bar Mitzvah nightclub, which meant glossy surfaces, laser and neon working together rather than fighting. The stage was edged in black light. Performers on it reflected straight off a pristine gloss black dance floor.

LED walls were built into the set design so the visuals could change through the night, carrying images during dancing and bespoke content behind the speeches. The colour off those screens was intense enough to change the room, and the lasers pushed it further. The piece nobody missed was a neon chandelier over the dance floor, matched by centrepieces mixing neon Perspex with florals. Children had a raised VIP area, adults the main floor. Food ran on sharing platters and dessert stations to keep people moving. VR pods and arcade games covered anyone not dancing
