East meets West
Designed as a sophisticated fusion of Kazakh and British culture, this wedding celebrated heritage, family and storytelling through an immersive experience that felt entirely unique to the couple. From the very beginning, the focus was on creating a celebration that gave equal presence to both cultures, balancing authenticity with elevated contemporary design in a way that felt thoughtful, inclusive and deeply personal.
At the heart of the ceremony stood a custom-built yurt, meticulously researched and constructed within a traditional British event space to honour the bride’s Kazakh heritage. Floral-filled urns, mirrored surfaces, soft lighting and layered textures transformed the reception spaces into an atmosphere that felt both grand and intimate, while the ballroom reveal introduced a dramatic shift into refined black-tie elegance. Hand-painted details, elevated staging, luxury tablescapes and a mirror-tiled bar created a setting filled with depth and spectacle, before the evening evolved into a high-energy celebration led by a live band, choreographed first dance and a packed dance floor that carried through late into the night.
