Location: Private Cotswolds estate

A three-day wedding weekend on the family's own estate. Guests staying locally found a hand-delivered itinerary in their room, so transport and logistics were settled before anyone arrived. Friday opened with a welcome event at a nearby hotel: jazz band, stylish furniture, elegant florals, and a clear signal of what was coming.

The wedding took place on the Saturday in a marquee built weeks earlier in the gardens. The house sits on the river, so we specified full-length windows to keep the view in the room and worked silver birch into the structure. Guests moved from champagne and a string quartet through to dinner, then into Ceilidh dancing for the groom's Celtic roots. A secret nightclub opened later with table magic and no curfew, because the venue was the family's own land. Sunday brunch under a clear-roofed structure in the courtyard closed the weekend.
