Basement Party

For her 40th, this client decided the only place she wanted to be was her own home. The basement held a swimming pool, and once covered it made a better nightclub than most nightclubs: no windows, no natural light, complete control. The brief was direct. Create The Arts Club in our house.

Guests arrived into the main house for canapés and cocktails, with no idea the real party was waiting below. When the doors opened the transformation did the rest. A high-gloss dance floor, a bespoke glitter stage and lighting designed room by room. The snooker table was covered and turned into a sushi bar. An award-winning magician worked the room while a world-renowned band played. A specialist gin bar and a photo booth meant every age group had somewhere to be.
