A brief of 26 guests: intimate, personal, special. Small numbers do not mean less work, they mean the detail has nowhere to hide. Guests started in the Drawing Room, where framed photographs of family and friends were arranged to read as the clients' own lounge at home. It set the tone before anyone said a word.

We brought in additional staff for a higher ratio of service, plus a busking duo and a comic magician. A custom copper top was made to fit over the venue's existing table and dressed with modern, colourful florals chosen to match the couple's personalities. The copper turned out to be functional as well as decorative. Four chefs came out of the kitchen and plated dessert directly onto the table itself. No plates. Swooshes of sauce, curls of chocolate, built in front of the guests. Everyone then went upstairs to bed.
